The pipephone is a wind instrument based on the vibration of an open end air column. It’s made with pipes of different lengths to make different notes. To produce the sound the player has to hit the pipe with paddles, (usually created with an equal or bigger area of the hole). To make this instrument is used PVC, PP, ABS and PE pipes (normally employed for constructions). The paddles are made with various plastic materials (or simply flip flop and ping pong racket).
